Try to avoid the rubbing motion while taking makeup off. What’s the correct technique then? Soak a cotton pad in a remover, lightly press it to the eyelid for 15-30 seconds and take makeup off gently moving from the inner to the outer eye corner. Repeat until the eye area is makeup-free.

As far as face cleansing goes, we still make plenty of mistakes. Using nothing but micellar water is a popular demerit. Skin needs water no matter its type: not moisturizing oily skin can be compared to vicious circle – dehydrated skin produces more sebum to replenish moisture and in turn gets even oilier.
